Valstone Corporation (“Valstone”), a long-term investor in industrial and logistics software, today announced it has completed the acquisition of the Crew Management and Locomotive Simulation software assets of PS Technology, Inc. (“PST”).
For more than 30 years, PST has supported Class I, regional, and short-line railroads with software that helps operators manage complex labor rules, safety and regulatory compliance, operational planning, and real-time data exchange. Following the acquisition, the Crew and Simulation business will continue to be supported by its experienced team and established operating model. Valstone will provide long-term ownership, operational resources, and strategic support to help the business continue serving customers reliably while pursuing ongoing product development, AI enablement, and growth initiatives.
“PST’s Crew and Simulation solutions sit at the core of daily railroad operations,” Daniel Malouf, Head of M&A at Valstone Corporation. “They are deeply specialized, highly trusted by customers, and backed by a team with exceptional domain expertise. We’re excited to welcome the business into the Valstone family and support continued investment in these products while maintaining the customer-first culture that has made them so durable.”
The acquisition expands Valstone’s logistics software platform and further establishes its presence in the North American rail ecosystem. By adding Crew Management and Locomotive Simulation capabilities, Valstone continues to execute its strategy of acquiring and building durable vertical software businesses that underpin critical industrial markets.
